World Hub | Island Beekeeper Wiki
Island Beekeeper world hub — islands, traders, weather, orders, story, and exploration routes after patches 1.01.5 and 1.01.6.
World Hub
This hub maps every Island Beekeeper world page. Use it when you want a single index of islands, traders, weather, and Earth orders — or when the PC navigation dropdown cannot list every World guide at once.
The sky archipelago is not a single farm. You repair travel routes, ride the Medocycle, meet island traders, and ship honey back to a damaged Earth. Patches 1.01.5 and 1.01.6 made that loop clearer: seeds returned to the Workbench, traders sell supplies across islands, and you can now plant extra Medocycle Stations so the vehicle is not locked to one dock.
Islands and Travel
- Islands and Biomes — Starter meadows, Farest forest, Swamp, Volcanic lava, alpine routes, and rare bees.
- Island Exploration — Route planning, hidden caches, and how to leave the tutorial island without running out of honey fuel.
- Weather and Conditions — Rain, wind, snow, tea for cold, and lethal volcanic lava.
- Medocycle — Travel Mode, Flight Mode, backpack storage, and multiple stations after 1.01.6.
Start on the home meadow, then unlock the Farest Island for forest queens and renewable wood. Swamp Island matters for Swamp Honey potions. Volcanic Island is a high-risk flower run — lava kills after the July 29 pass.
People, Trade, and Earth
- Island Traders — Bear Merchant, shrine keepers, and the new island traders who sell seeds and restore missing rewards.
- Orders and Reputation — Drone cargo, rank unlocks, and which shipments open new routes.
- Story and Orders — Vanished beekeepers, journal fragments, and why Earth still waits for honey.
- Post Station — The drone pad on the Main Island that actually sends jars downward.
Traders sit on the same islands you already visit. You do not need a separate “market district.” After the Island Traders update, older saves can recover missing merchant rewards, and seed stock is no longer a one-way gather from the wild.
How the World Loop Works
- Tend hives and gardens on the home island.
- Fill Earth orders so reputation unlocks the next Meadow Cycle route.
- Ride the Medocycle with spare honey in the new backpack slot.
- Buy or craft seeds from traders if a crop line ran dry.
- Bring rare queens home and mutate them at the Alchemy Table.
Weather still matters after hotfix 1.01.2 restored changing skies. Pack tea before alpine hops. If you die on the bike, 1.01.1 sends you home instead of respawning in lava or open air.
Suggested Reading Order
- Islands and Biomes — know where wood, queens, and lava live.
- Orders and Reputation — unlock the next dock legally.
- Island Traders — refill seeds and check restored merchants.
- Exploration — plan circular routes instead of one-way fuel burns.
- Story — read journal scraps once survival is stable.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Where should I start in the World section?
Read Islands and Biomes first, then Orders and Reputation. Traders and Weather matter once you leave the starter meadow.
How do I travel between islands?
Unlock routes at the Meadow Cycle Station with reputation, then ride the Medocycle. Patch 1.01.6 lets you build extra stations on other islands and store items in the bike backpack.
What did the Island Traders update add?
New traders on several islands, clearer item descriptions, multiplayer and save recovery, and restored missing rewards on older saves. Seeds can also be bought or crafted again after 1.01.5.
Why does the World menu say View all?
When World has more than eight pages, the dropdown keeps the first items and this hub lists every guide so nothing is buried.
